The recalled gates violate the mandatory safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. A gap exists between the gate and the floor that is large enough for a child's torso to fit through, posing a serious risk of child entrapment that could result in serious injury or death.
The gates were sold online at Amazon.com beginning in September 2025 for approximately $40 per unit. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled gates and contact Aborder Products for a full refund. Consumers must destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh and send a photo of the destroyed gate to [email protected].
