Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Plain-English summary
Sefudun 5% Minoxidil Hair Growth Serum Kits are being recalled due to violation of mandatory child-resistant packaging requirements. The black glass bottles containing the serum are not child-resistant, creating a serious poisoning hazard if the contents are swallowed by young children. Approximately 7,000 units were sold.
The product is a hair growth serum intended for topical use. Minoxidil is a regulated substance that the Poison Prevention Packaging Act requires to be stored in child-resistant containers. The non-compliant bottles fail to provide the required safety barrier against accidental ingestion by children.
The kits were sold online at Amazon.com from December 2023 through August 2025 for approximately $15 each. They were distributed by Ganzhounengmiaokejiyouxiangongsi (dba Nengmiaokeji) of China. No injuries have been reported to date.
Consumers should immediately secure the recalled bottles out of sight and reach of children. Contact Nengmiaokeji at [email protected] to request a free replacement bottle with proper packaging. Consumers will be asked to pour the contents of the original bottle into the trash, photograph the empty bottle, and email the photo as proof of disposal.
