Sunneday and Blue Bay Above-Ground Pools Recalled Due to Drowning Hazard

Starmatrix Group Inc., of China, is recalling approximately 2,390 Sunneday and Blue Bay brand above-ground pools, 48 inches and taller. Affected models include the Sunneday Oasis Cottage 18'x52" (Model 70018) and 24'x52" (Model 70024), and the Blue Bay Softsided Pool in 15'x48" and 18'x52" sizes (Models 358015W, 359015G, 360018W, 361018G, 380018T).

The recalled pools contain a compression strap (reinforcing belt) wrapped around the outside of the vertical support poles. This strap may create a foothold that allows a child to climb up and access the pool, posing a drowning risk. Children can gain entry even if the ladder has been removed.

The pools were sold online through Amazon.com and www.sunneday.com from January 2024 through October 2025, priced between $500 and $1,210 depending on the model and size. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
