MerchSource LLC of Irvine, California is recalling approximately 46,200 FAO Schwarz branded toys: about 26,400 Toy Wood Play Smart Robot Buddies and about 19,800 Toy Wood Sensory Boards. The recall involves batch numbers 35227A21210 (Robot Buddy) and 59945A21207 (Sensory Board).

A manufacturing issue allows small parts from these products to come loose or fall off, posing a choking hazard to young children. The firm has received 20 reports of parts coming loose or falling off the toys—nine reports from the Robot Buddy and 11 from the Sensory Board. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled toys were sold at FAO Schwarz and Target stores nationwide and online at www.faoschwarz.com and www.target.com from November 2021 through February 2022. The Robot Buddy sold for about $60 and the Sensory Board for about $25.
