The recalled products contain aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen—regulated substances that must be packaged in child-resistant containers under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) when sold for household use. The packaging of these products does not meet child-resistant requirements, posing a risk of poisoning if young children swallow the contents.
No injuries have been reported. The products were sold online through Amazon.com and FSAstore.com between February 2014 and June 2021 for between $5 and $50.
