Textron Prowler Pro and Tracker UTVs Recalled for Fire Hazard
Textron Specialized Vehicles is recalling about 10,300 Prowler Pro and Tracker 800SX utility vehicles due to a defective fuel tank cap that can leak fuel and pose a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a fuel leak hazard that can pose a fire risk, meeting the criterion for "risk-of-harm products." However, the source text explicitly states "No injuries have been reported," which per the rubric limits the score to a maximum of 3 when the hazard is theoretical rather than documented.
Plain-English summary

The fuel tank cap does not fit correctly, causing fuel to leak around the filler neck and creating a fire hazard.

The vehicles are available in colors including green, gray, red, fossil, and timber, with "Prowler" or "Tracker" stamped on the side of the cargo box.
The firm has received 48 reports of fuel leakage incidents around the cap. No injuries have been reported.
