If the unit self-starts in a confined space, the gasoline-powered engine will produce carbon monoxide, which poses a risk of serious injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning. The firm has received six reports of pressure washers self-starting. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
About 16,260 units are affected by this recall. The pressure washers were sold at major home improvement and hardware stores including Menards, Home Depot, and Amazon from November 2021 through February 2026, at prices between $500 and $590.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pressure washer. The unit can still be used with the battery removed by using the pull-start option.
