Icon Vehicle Dynamics, LLC is recalling certain Ford F-250 and F-350 pickup trucks (model years 2005-2021) that were sold with its FSD 2.5 Centerline Stabilizer Kit (part number 65050). The kit was sold as an aftermarket accessory for 4X4 models.

The foam ring inside the stabilizer "through shaft" may block the piston ports in the shock assembly. When blocked, the steering may lock up, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall began December 21, 2020. Icon will notify owners, and participating Ford dealers will install a new shock assembly with a revised foam ring and steel support disc at no charge.
