2021 INFINITI Q50 and Q60 Engine Control Module Software Defect

When the vehicle detects rapid acceleration, the ECM may incorrectly reduce engine power and decrease the fuel supply to the engine. This malfunction can cause engine stall and increase the risk of a crash.
INFINITI dealers will reprogram the ECM software at no charge. Owners should contact INFINITI customer service at 1-800-662-6200 to schedule the recall service. The recall began on May 25, 2021.
