Recreational vehicles recalled for defective window adhesive on multiple models

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain recreational vehicle models equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows, including Forest River Blue Ridge (2011–2016), Cardinal (2014–2019), Cedar Creek (2014–2020), Georgetown (2014–2021), Legacy (2019), Berkshire (2019–2021), and Riverstone (2017–2018), as well as Coachmen Cross Country (2015–2017), Encore (2015), Mirada (2016–2020), and Sportscoach (2018–2021) models. Approximately 825 vehicles are affected.

The adhesive bonding the vented portion of the windows may fail. If the vent detaches, it increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Owners should contact their dealer to have the windows inspected and the vent replaced if necessary, at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 2, 2021.
