Alliance RV is recalling certain 2022 Paradigm, Avenue, and Valor recreational trailers due to cracked quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system that can cause gas leaks, creating a fire hazard.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: This is a risk-of-harm product where no injuries have been reported. The cracked LP gas fittings create a concrete hazard (gas leak) with serious potential consequences (fire), but the source text does not indicate any reported illnesses or injuries.
Plain-English summary
Alliance RV, LLC is recalling certain 2022 recreational trailers from the Valor, Avenue, and Paradigm model lines. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing gas leaks. A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.
This recall affects approximately 4,224 units of 2022 model year recreational trailers. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 15, 2022.
Dealers will remove the quick disconnect fitting and initially replace it with a plug, free of charge. Once new quick disconnect fittings become available, they will be installed to replace the temporary plugs, also at no charge.
