Plain-English summary
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017–2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2021–2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles due to incorrect tire pressure and size information on the tire placard and manufacturer labels. Approximately 9,037 vehicles are affected. The tire information printed on these placards does not match the correct specifications.
These vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Number 110 (Tire Selection and Rims). The incorrect tire pressure and size information can result in owners installing under-inflated tires or tires of the incorrect size. This increases the risk of a crash.
Chrysler will mail corrected tire placards and manufacturer overlay labels to affected owners at no charge. Owners may bring the labels to a Chrysler dealer for free installation. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning August 5, 2024. For questions, owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
