2025 BMW vehicles recalled for loose starter-generator connection defect

Dealers will inspect and replace the starter-generator and positive battery cable as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on May 28, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available.
