Hyundai Motor America is recalling certain 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 vehicles due to an incorrect headlight aim label on the right-side headlight. The incorrect label can result in improperly aimed headlights that provide insufficient illumination of the road, decreasing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash. The vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108 (Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment).
Approximately 10,409 vehicles are affected. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2025. Hyundai will mail owners a corrected label with inspection and installation instructions.
