Jayco Terrain and Melbourne motorhomes recalled for parking pawl failure

The fatigued guide bushing can prevent the parking pawl from engaging properly. When the parking pawl fails to engage, the vehicle may roll away unintentionally, increasing the risk of crashes and collisions.
Owners should contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 to schedule a free software update for the electronic stability control, transmission control, direct select module, and electronic ignition switch control units. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 8, 2023.
