Winnebago water tank heating pad may fail from high resistance

Winnebago is recalling certain motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad because the water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail, increasing the risk of a fire.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 3 covers risk-of-harm where injury has not yet been reported: a failing heating pad is a fire hazard that does not affect control or propulsion, and no incidents are recorded.
