Jayco and Entegra Recreational Vehicles Power Steering Line Defect

Certain 2021-2022 Jayco and Entegra recreational vehicles have a defective power steering line connection that could result in sudden loss of power steering and brake assist, increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace the lines at no cost.

Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2021 and 2022 Entegra Esteem and Odyssey models, as well as Jayco Greyhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, and Redhawk models. These vehicles have an inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake Hydroboost unit.

A sudden loss of power steering fluid due to this defective connection can result in loss of power steering and loss of power brake assist. This increases the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect the connection and replace the power steering lines as necessary, at no charge. Owner notification letters were sent on June 15, 2022. Owners can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 (recall number 22V-089) or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
