Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling certain 2022–2023 EQB 350 4MATIC and EQB 300 4MATIC vehicles. The high-voltage battery bus bar may be secured with incorrect screws, which can cause a sudden loss of drive power without warning. This loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Approximately 660 vehicles are affected. The recall impacts both 2022 and 2023 model years of the EQB 350 4MATIC and EQB 300 4MATIC.
Owners are advised to park their vehicles outside until the recall repair is completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the high-voltage battery as necessary, free of charge. This remedy will be rolled out in phases based on model and model year. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 9, 2026.
