Grand Design fifth wheel U-bolts may loosen and shift the axle
Grand Design is recalling certain 2021-2024 Momentum and 2022-2024 Solitude fifth wheel trailers because the U-bolt may become loose, causing the axle to move out of position.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the U-bolt holds the axle to the suspension, and the source states a shifted axle causes a loss of vehicle control.
