2021-2024 Grand Design RV trailers recalled for suspension U-bolt defect

Grand Design is recalling certain 2021-2024 Momentum and 2022-2024 Solitude fifth wheel trailers because the U-bolt connecting the leaf spring to the axle may become loose, causing the axle to shift position and risking loss of vehicle control.

Dealers will replace the axle attachment components at no cost. Grand Design sent owner notification letters in May 2026. If you own an affected trailer, contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 to schedule the repair. This recall supersedes previous NHTSA recalls 23V490 and 24V193.

Approximately 7,585 trailers are affected by this recall.
