2020-2021 Dodge Durango Side Air Bag Fastener Recall

Chrysler is recalling 2020-2021 Dodge Durango vehicles because the side curtain air bag fastener may be loose or missing. A loose fastener could cause incorrect air bag deployment, increasing injury risk.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: This involves a structural vehicle safety defect in the air bag system, but no injuries or illnesses have been reported. The hazard is theoretical rather than demonstrated, which qualifies as High per the rubric: risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported.
