Audi Q4 E-Tron Charger Failure May Cause Loss of Drive Power
The on-board charger (OCDC) in certain 2024–2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron and ID.4 vehicles may fail and stop charging the 12-volt battery, resulting in loss of drive power and increased crash risk.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The on-board charger failure can result in loss of drive power, which increases crash risk. However, no actual injuries or deaths have been documented in the source material, so this meets the rubric criteria for High: a risk-of-harm product where injury has not yet been reported.
