Forest River Recreational Trailers: Shock Bolts May Detach and Cause Crashes

If the bolts are not properly tightened, the shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and fall onto the road, creating a hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash.
Approximately 200 trailers are potentially affected. Owners are expected to receive notification letters by June 1, 2026. Dealers will replace the shock bolts at no charge.
